'We're All Mad Here' for Loungefly

'We're All Mad Here' for Loungefly

Who doesn’t know the fuss about the latest Loungefly designs? When it comes to Loungefly bags, you’ll find that many individuals will match their entire outfit to the design or use it in order to add a single touch of magic to their day.
Whether you identify with the brand, a sucker for quirky designs or you just love the nostalgia, Loungefly has a bag for you!
.
The new Cheshire Cat Loungefly was kindly gifted to me by Pop Figures in time for my recent Walt Disney World trip. When it comes to planning an outfit that incorporates a Loungefly, I ask myself:
  • Do I want a subtle 'nod to Disney' outfit?
  • Do I want a 'You can't miss the theme of this' outfit?
Either way, I love to get fully immersed into a design of a bag and one of my favourite parts of my trip is planning outfits especially tailored around my Loungefly bags!
.
I usually mentally imagine mood boards around the bag (like below), either focusing on the colours or the theme of the bag, i.e. Alice in Wonderland. In this instance, I actually preferred outfits that utilised the pink tones of the bag as it suited my style more, whether it was a pink dress, pink shorts or a skirt with a Cheshire cat tee. A plain white tee or shirt would work here too.
.
You could also find a pink stripe tee to do more of a Disney bound!
Focusing on colours is definitely easier to do and doesn’t rely on you having a huge magnitude of merchandise of the same theme to make an outfit work.
I think these sort of outfits are easily worn outside the parks too. They also allow for you to do subtle Disney bounds.
.
When it comes to making flatlays I do much prefer creating outfits around a theme. It doesn’t always just involve styling an outfit around a Loungefly but could also be a tee, such as the Cakeworthy tee below. As the t-shirt has several of the characters from Alice in Wonderland on, I incorporate this into the whole outfit adding touches of the different characters.
.

.
I find it easier if I focus on one item and then pull everything around that. Flatlays are a great way to trial outfits although I have found some outfits work better on than in a flatlay and vice versa! This tee would actually be good with any Loungefly Alice in Wonderland cosplay bag due to the variety of colours and characters displayed!
.
Even when I want to show off the Loungefly, it needs to compliment and work as an accessory for the overall look. Although sometimes, they are definitely the star of the show! I received so many compliments about Cheshire at  Walt Disney World; he was definitely the star of the show and even Alice herself loved him! It felt like him wearing me!
.
What about you? What works for you? Focusing on a colour, item of clothing or the Loungefly?
